Being positive and staying positive is absolutely critical to your success in life! If you're going to win in your chosen field, you must avoid negative people and situations as much as you can.
Do you realize if a person has the mindset of being poor and acts poor, he or she will be poor? Thinking you are poor and acting like you're poor will keep you poor! You will never rise above the way you see yourself. "As a man thinketh, so is he" (Proverbs 23:7).
Every day we're confronted with situations
where we need to influence, lead and persuade
people. From persuading your children to clean their room, to convincing your boss to give you a raise. It's all about influence.
To attract attractive people, you must be attractive. To attract powerful people, you must be powerful. To attract committed people, you must be committed. Instead of going to work on them, you go to work on yourself. If you become, you can attract.
Your attitude is supported by your beliefs and your beliefs are vital to your success or failure in life. Jesus said, "As you have believed, let it be done unto you" (Matthew 8:13).
Wouldn't it be nice to believe anything and everything that someone said? Unfortunately, most people's words are filled with good intentions, but many never follow through. I'm sure glad God is not like that! We know His Word is good, and what He
says He will do, He will do!
If Satan can get you unplugged from fellowship with fellow believers and isolate you from God's family, you become perfect breeding ground for all kinds of negative circumstances to arise in your life.
If you have a big dream that God has placed in your heart are you pursuing it? Are you in motion, or are you sitting idle? Maybe you're waiting for God to do something.
The "thinking" referred to in Proverbs 23:7 is not a conscious
thinking as most people believe. That would be the "thinking" in
the mind. It is the thinking that takes place in the heart that creates your
expectations for future experiences.
