You must find out if there have been winners of not only a particular game, but winners of a certain roll of tickets. You should avoid those particular rolls of tickets that have been paying out.

Questions #4 - What are the odds of winning for particular games? You actually have certain rights when you make a purchase. When you purchase a scratch ticket, it is your right to know the odds of winning each game before you purchase the ticket. Ask the store clerk to check this for you, and opt for one of the tickets with the best odds.

It takes just a minute to ask these questions, and that is time is well spent if the answers you get lead to you finally getting that big winner that you have been searching for. Remember that scratch tickets are a game and, as with all other types of games, if you want to win then you have to play smart.

You, or they, aren’t doing anything dishonest by this, and it is not against the rules of the game at all. 99% of store employees will give you the answers if they know them, so you may as well ask.

Whilst you can never be guaranteed to buy a winning ticket every time, there is certainly more to it than just blind luck. If you've been buying tickets so far without putting any prior thought into in your decision, then that has no doubt contributed to your losing streak.
