Keeping the bathrooms clean without exhausting yourself
No one wants a messy, dirty bathrooms. However, most of us don't want to spend a lot of time preventing our bathrooms from slowly deteriorating. The bathroom may well be the least favorite room to clean among those who do the cleaning. There is a grocery list of problems to be dealt with - toothpaste stains, soap scum, hair, mildew... And just picturing it makes one want to run away, screaming. However, it doesn't need to be this way It's much, much easier to maintain a bathroom than to restore a bathroom, and make it clean.

Should your bathroom already be beyond the point at which upkeep and maintenance is a realistic goal, you may need to bite the bullet and hire a cleaner, or else be prepared to really put in a lot of effort. However, if you're looking for bits of advice for keeping your bathroom nice and clean without too much effort, read on.

Almost all of what is necessary to maintain the cleanliness of your bathroom clean consists of little more than adding a second or two to your daily bathroom activities - wiping the area around the sink down after using it, and rinsing it thoroughly after brushing to prevent stains, etc.

Use your exhaust fan. This may simply be common sense, but many people choose not to use the fan, and open a window. Although the window may be faster, it lets dust, dirt, and other unwelcome things into your bathroom, and will increase the humidity of the bathroom too.

You can help reduce mildew and mold accumulation by turning the fan on before showering, and by letting it run for 20-30 minutes afterwards.

At your supermarket, you'll find many shower sprays available, are no-rinse solutions. Just spray, and forget about it! While they are no substitute for a good, thorough cleaning, shower sprays will help keep the shower fresher between regular cleanings, and help it stay fresher between cleanings. Just a few sprays may mean a lot less effort for you in the long run.

Finally, there is the toilet. It's not something we like to spend too much time thinking about, but a few quick purchases can save you a lot of headache. Automatic toilet bowl cleaning products are great for keeping your toilet bowl fresh between cleanings. This will not only extend the length of time between serious cleanings, it will keep it cleaner between them.

When, inevitably, you must give the toilet a good scrub, there are plenty of 'disposable' solutions available - many cleaning product brands have a line of cleaning wands with attachable/disposable scrubbing heads, which can be released into the garbage with the simple press of a button. No need to deal with a worn out, used, and possibly unsanitary toilet scrubber!

The preceding information is common sense. Maintaining the bathroom isn't all that difficult. It just consists of doing those little things we tell ourselves that we should do, but often don't bother to follow through on. But putting a more extra seconds of effort in will have you spending a lot less time cleaning, it will also make it much easier to clean when you do need to dedicate some serious time to cleaning. The little bits of extra effort are well worth a clean bathroom, and saving a lot of effort in the long run.
